Dade County Courthouse - Once the tallest building south
of Washington D.C. This building stands in the heart of downtown

First Union Financial Center - This 55-story structure
is the tallest building in Florida. The plaza is a great place
to rest and enjoy the atmosphere. 200 S. Biscayne Boulevard.
Freedom Tower - Built in 1925 and restored in 1988,
this building was once used by the Cuban Refugee Center to process
more then 500,000 Cubans fleeing Fidel Castro's regime. 600
Biscayne Boulevard.
Gusman Center for the Performing Arts - A former movie
palace now restored as a concert hall. The stunning beauty of
this building should not be missed. 174 E. Flagler Street.
Miami-Dade Cultural Center - A focal point of the city,
this building houses the Miami Art Museum, the Historical Museum
of Southern Florida, and the Main Public Library. 101 W.
Flagler Street.
Mildred and Claude Pepper Bayfront Park - Set among
the skyscrapers, this lovely park is an ideal place to escape
the city and take a walk. Biscayne Boulevard between 2nd
and 3rd Streets.
