Coconut Grove
Coconut Grove is southern Florida's oldest settlement. Contrary
to its eclectic origins, the Grove is now a bustling upscale city
where you'll find many great restaurants, galleries, bars, and boutiques.
Here are a few of the areas most important sights.

in Miami built by one of Coconut Grove's early pioneers, Ralph
Munroe, in 1891. 3485 Main Highway.
Miami City Hall - This government building was originally
built in 1934 as the terminal for the Pan American Airways seaplane
base at Dinner Key. 3500 Pan American Drive.
Miami Museum of Science and Space Transit Planetarium -
A science museum with plenty of hands-on activities for children
and adults. 3280 S. Miami Avenue.
Plymouth Congregational Church - This lovely building was
opened in 1917 and resembles a Mexican mission church. 3400
Devon Road.
Vizcaya Museum and Gardens - An Italian Renaissance-style
villa and formal gardens built in 1916 by industrialist James
Deering. This National Historic Landmark is filled with antique
furniture, paintings, and sculpture. 3251 S. Miami Avenue.
